Which clicks we charge for
You pay only for valid clicks: not for repeats, not for automated traffic and not for clicks we later mark as invalid.
- Repeats: the same offer clicked again from the same connection and browser within 30 minutes is free. We recognise them by a scrambled form of the IP address and browser that changes every day.
- Automated traffic: Cloudflare gives every visit a bot score. We do not charge for a score below 30, a known bot, a missing or very short browser name, or a browser name typical of bots.
- Traffic from data centres and cloud hosting networks is not charged.
- We can also mark clicks invalid after a review, for example after a complaint.
A click marked invalid after it was invoiced is credited on your next invoice, on a line of its own, and shows in your report.
Every click is logged with the reason it was or was not charged.
